The lawyers of the MUSE collective are members of the Lyon Bar (Ordre des avocats de Lyon, Palais de Justice, 67 rue Servient, 69003 Lyon). They practise under the French title of avocat, governed by Law no. 71-1130 of 31 December 1971, Decree no. 2023-552 of 30 June 2023 (the lawyers’ code of conduct) and the profession’s National Internal Rules (RIN). They carry professional liability insurance under the Lyon Bar group policy.

III. Intellectual property

All elements of this site (texts, architecture, logos, photographs, videos) are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of MUSE AVOCATS is prohibited.

IV. Personal data

MUSE AVOCATS, as data controller, collects the data submitted through the site’s forms (contact, appointment booking, file transfer) for the sole purposes of handling your enquiry, managing the relationship and, where applicable, performing the engagement entrusted to it. This processing is based on pre-contractual measures and the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and on MUSE AVOCATS’ legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

Data are kept for the duration of the relationship, then archived for five (5) years from the end of the lawyer’s engagement or, where no case is opened, from the last contact. They are neither sold nor passed on to third parties, apart from strictly necessary technical providers (OVH hosting, France) and legal obligations.

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, which you may exercise with our personal data officer, Maître Amaury PLUMERAULT, by email at contact@muse-avocats.com or by post at the registered office. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr).

V. Cookies

The site uses cookies and trackers necessary for its operation and, subject to your consent, audience-measurement trackers and third-party content (videos, Google reviews, WhatsApp). You can accept, refuse or adjust these trackers at any time via the “Cookie settings” module in the footer.

VI. Consumer mediation
